"You'll get five days," The doctors say. (For Molly)
"You'll get five days," the doctors say. "Don't be afraid.

Death is part of life and at least it will end your pain."

Five days left to see the light reflect in his hair-

five days left and then you can't see, can't breathe, can't hear.

First day you are scared and they sit by your side, you're weak.

First day is a wonder all in itself and your wounds they bleed.

Second day you walk through the garden and sit by the fountain of your youth.

Second day they leave you to think alone and embrace the truth.

Third day is a mess as you fall to the floor, paralyzed.

Third day they cry trying to justify their coldness.

Fourth day he holds you close and you dance, he supports your fragile bones.

Fourth day is the day you remember the way you used to love.

Fifth day and the sun is a warming fact, a blinding light of soothing lies.

Fifth day and they'll sit by your side and try to make you smile.

Sixth day and the pain is gone-
