Through the eyes of one who has missed their love. The pain could very well be too much.
Silent whispers across fields of green
that carry my words to you.
Oh, how I wish you could hear them.
My calls of love and yearning to hear you again,
to see you again,
to touch you again.
The same whisper that has carried scent of
my tears that had fallen to the ground
also carries my sickness.
While is moves around me whilst I stand,
I am reminded,
now and on,
I am alone.
How is it you must leave me here
and how selfish it must be of me
to need you back.
I've blasphemed your very name into the
gusts on by,
yet I find myself frozen in sorrow.
I see now,
I am unable to get over you.
I cannot move on from the time you've given me.
Sinking to the ground, the grass is as high
as my shoulders, my tears never having to travel as far as you have
away from me.
This pain.
This isolation.
It's cold.
I miss your warmth.
Hand grasped to a knife, I see your outline against the dusk.
I see you now.
I'll be with you soon.
I'll join you now my love.
For now and on.
Please, wait for me.
These silent whispers whisk my breath away
and join our hearts within its caress.
Only the trees can tell of our sacrifice
while they stand tall against the whipping winds of malevolence.
