A personal account of substance withdrawals.
you fix and fix and fix and the nights stay always swell

hellish fiendish resin days - your body’s not been well

menthol-laced oxygen; eucalyptus room

respiratory full of spice and metal - straight up doom

wall of sound is filled with sharks; cocaine’s a dying breed

tic-tac-toe is life or death - her “medicine” she needs

iron sights for blatant gore with septum piercing drillbits

rip and tear and stretch the flesh; your kidneys remain gilded

this over the counter nonsense spawns superiority complex

I itch and scratch and squirm and scream and make no sense in context

Many thoughts, they come and go, it all comes down to bloodstream

My nickel flavored radium coagulates inside me.
