Drowning, described.
Why can’t you see it?
It’s right there in the clear blue
I’m crying out
Even silence has meaning.
I need you and I always have
Where’d you go?
Why do you always leave?
I’m sitting here, in my own corner, alone
Drowning in my own sorrow
I can’t speak, I’m barely breathing
I need you here by me, but
You left
Rescue me before I’m gone.
I’m slowly inhaling the beautiful water…
I see a bright light.
I could either fight it or welcome it.
I have nothing left for me.
No one is there.
Everyone has left.
I proceed into the glorious light.
Back in the living world,
No one notices.
Nothing changes.
Nothing happens.
My life was full of heartbreak and hate.
It was pointless.
