We learn from life and emotions as we grow older
Was I wiser,
Than my fifteen years,
When I said love is for kids,
With nothing to bear?

Was I old,
When I thought,
Love was gifts and toys,
That the heart could be bought?

What did I think,
When I saw,
The children of old,
Together before?

How could I be a poet,
Reciting love aloud,
Not knowing what love is,
Even now.
