There’s someone in my life. She won’t grant me peace...
There’s someone in my life.
She won’t grant me peace.

She’s a tormenting siren.
She never stops shrieking.

Her cruelty is a warning
of what I’ll become.
If I walk her austere path
and do exactly as she wants.

Accepting her delusions is
my biggest fear.
But without her beliefs
I’ll be a victim.
It’s clear that

the paradox lives,

inside of me she feeds
on psychotropic panacean fantasies
refusing to leave.

Can’t you hear her accusations?
She taunts and she dares.
I’m unnerved trying to
purge her tyrannical verbs.

And the paradox lives.

I need her.
She defines me.
But she keeps me off-balance
and mentally challenged.
