Sending an email to the wrong person.
I sent an email through the air,
(it’s wireless, I do declare.)
It was a private message yet,
meant for Moe at Stooge Dot Net.

Alas, O me, my face was red;
I sent it to Curly, instead!
And so I sat there with regret
for Curly at Stooge Dot Net.

(And now I think I must tell you
that Stooge Dot Net has Larry, too.
But in my haste to email Moe,
I clicked Curly, don’t you know.)

Therefore my mail to Curly went,
(my sin is Stooge--I do repent.)
Yet this I had to tell Moe, though:
“Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk incensed me so.”

(It was the laughter of the Stooge
heard from Detroit to Baton Rouge.
Moe was the head of the trio,
  so I thought him apropos.)

When Curly called the other day
he dealt with me in Stooge-like way.
And so I felt just like a schmuck:
Curly chuckled, “Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk.”
