A dark poem, based on an individuals coping mechanism. To block the bad out.
A happy place I can go
Where the sun will brightly shine
Where flowers grow
And where I know everything is always fine

A river flows with water of blue
It is of an unnatural hue
The grass is green, but the sky is grey
This world plays with me like clay

I allow it to though
For it is better to be oblivious
Than to watch your son’s small coffin
As they lower it to the grave
