Calling me
Standing free
Upon the edge
Terrible’s lonesome ledge
All around is silence
An over abundance
If such a hypocrisy
Could truly be possible
His choices echo true
Reality, oh so bruised
Many many wounds
All of them self-inflicted
Such a dereliction of living
Death has to be the right choice
When every other one is wrong
Unafraid
Emotionless fear
Filling his heart
Last ideas ring out
A whole lot of “What if?”
No real purpose to serve
Only set on delaying the inevitable
While within the process of falling
Spiraling down
Ass over teakettle
The ground, then the sky
Reality, then eventuality
Life, then death
Chance, then none
How sweet is the sun
How intense is the moon
Blackness does indeed swoon
Death, one impact away
One second more of pain
Maybe if he could feel less
Awkwardly numb
Such a conundrum
May have kept him alive
At least for a time
Here we are
The brutal point
Everything of madness
Cemented in sadness
Peppered with retribution
To know the truth
And not ever be able to tell
Now, may he dare confess
That is and will always be hell
His personal one to be exact
Illogical is the reason
Darkness, continually breeding
Anything good is fair game
Nothing survives for long
In his wilderness of shame
Fate has dealt the cruelest of hand
The end was indeed always
Part of every possible plan
To know the truth
Good, bad or indifferent
To understand what must be done
That is indeed one hell of a thing
He is profoundly aware
Gravity is oh so clear
The ground is quite close
Impact will be the end
Nothing but the truth
Is meant to come next…
