He suffers from Synesthesia syndrome...and more.
He can see sweet and cayenne-like heat
and tartness from his Mountain Dew.
And if you think seeing flavors is rude,
he can taste red, white and blue.

He has an eye for taste of peach pie
and vision for hot-pepper stew.
But if you ask why his senses are skewed,
he’ll say he has not a clue.

So with the doc he had a long talk,
(a very long word did ensue).
Still as his senses continued to feud,
that interchange stayed on cue.

Someone put gray aside him one day
and he with a grimace went, “Phew!”
Then when he saw honey’s elegant mood,
he said, “This flavor will do!”

And when he gnawed a fungus from sod,
(a mushroom that overnight grew),
he saw a flavor and, not to be crude,
it looked like a piece of poo.

He took a breath which scared him to death
which made him come out of his shoe.
He felt as if he was there in the nude,
with everything in plain view.
