A poem I wrote for someone very special and very close to me(both figurative and literal)
In years gone past, a question asked
Our time awake, insane, outcast
A searching spirit alive in me
A questioned truth I was forced to see
To pain and grow it forced a way
Alive it asked, what price to pay
In emptiness it was forced to be
To ask aloud, just who is we
Dark clouds soon parted this empty soul
To give to him what makes him whole
And light arrived to open hope
To make him realize the time to cope
All he could ask for, alive, alone
A simple someone to bring him home
In all she is, it gives new life
Discontentment and years of strife
Are wiped away like a newborn's tears
Along with questions and all his fears
