Misery took your place.
I should probably thank you
For the tragedy you created
But now you’re all that I think about,
And all that I write about.
And I suppose I should try and look for the good in this,
But I’ve tried a hundred times, and I can’t.
You’re stuck in my head like an awful song;
I want you out but all you do is stay.
I hardly sleep and it’s hard on me
Because you seem to be the only thing on my mind.
And even when I finally do fall asleep,
You somehow creep into my dreams.
You are everywhere.
You have become a part of me.
And I can hear you in my head saying,
“I will never leave.”
