A poem for her. I believe she will understand.
I am the air that you breathe
I am the liquid you drink
I fall for you and then I melt
A crystal on the brink

My symmetry is unique
I am frozen in time
You may visualize me on a peak
And know that the flood is mine

Together as one
Alone just a flake
Beauty and misery in one
Sustainment of life it will make

Inside by the fire
You see the beauty of my freedom
As I fall to earth you dream
What a heavenly descent

Every year I come and go
But what I really want is to stay
I understand you really know
I mean not to keep you at bay

Together as one
Is how it’s done
I was meant to be with you
For I am your snowflake
