Discovery

Where did you go?
How did I not see you leave?
When did the lies start turning into truth?
When did the glimmering lights fade to dim imitations?
Sliding down was easy.
Now the climbing starts.
I will get back to you!
Shedding the faux.
With every heartbeat.
I will reclaim the real truth.
I will reclaim the glimmering lights.
I will reclaim the real ME!
