The true Pandora's box, welcomed by us all, until it's too late
You held me young, no more aged than four
Yet even then, you showed me war
10,000 deaths by now I’ve seen
Innocence lost by my TV screen

Through film or news, death until mundane
Unseen my soul takes its dark stain
Real or fake, all things viewed obscene
My heart calloused by my TV screen

Blackened bodies burnt, blown up and torn
A normal death makes me but yawn
Injected with noxious vaccine
Compassion proof, by my TV screen

I don’t feel your fear nor share your pain
Even though I see it again
All things foul that have ever been
Spewing constant, on my TV screen

I share not your loss, nor dark fate’s glare
Even though I know I should care
For I just sit like a machine
Viewing evils on my TV screen

I have no heart nor have no feeling
Wounds I have will take no healing
For my own soul is sucked out clean
Turned to zombie by my TV screen
