Forgive me


The morning sun touches my face
I open my eyes to find I'm alone
Then the truth comes flooding back
Please come save me

I softly whisper "Forgive me"

I am so alone and lost now
I feel like I've done someone wrong
But the truth is I don't know who
Please come save me

I softly whisper "Forgive me"

Leaves are changing colour and birds sing
It's such a beautiful day but I'm alone
Somehow it feels like I'm meant to be
Please come save me

I softly whisper "Forgive me"

It was you who gave me these words
The beautiful words that pour from me
The beautiful words that became me
Please come save me

I softly whisper "Forgive me"
