A poem based on a game of chess
It's the blackest knight
A bishop preaches from a balcony
Brainwashing the minds of innocent
As pawns line up ready to fight
Oblivious to realism
Existing only to protect the queen
Her rotting heart bleeds evil
Her king powerless
As he watches her command an army
From the tallest castle

Whilst opposite
Civilians stand ready
Willing to fight for a noble cause
Soldiers on beautiful white horses
Gallop, surveying the terrain ahead
Religion is used by preachers
Only to raise spirits and morale
The queen with her cascading white hair
And the king so brave
Allow no evil to reach
Their Rooks gates

But which side will prevail?
Which outcome will you achieve?
It's your move...
