thoughts of a depressed person
Darkness overtakes me
The sun no longer shines
Silence surrounds me
I dare not to whine

Alone in my lonely thoughts
No one there to share
My heart tells me, never mind
nobody really cares

I do not know why things change
Nor why they stay the same
I do not understand the age
Nor what matters in a name

I think I'll lay me down
I think I'll run away
Possibly tomorrow
Certainly not today
