A way out there abstract poem about writing as more of a way to survive than entertain.

Until the last time
Widening those eyes
Guessing what is defined
Pondering each line
Questioning as to why
More than in my head
Words, these to be exact
You, my torturous friends
Understand if you dare
Mercy is for the weak
Those strongest always survive
Themselves and everything else
These words, each line, every verse
Are offering nothing more
While suggesting everything less
And again here we are
A man with many slogans
And a page to be filled
Read them all close
Literal meaning and context
Are such bitch cousins
What is being said
Not nearly as important
As the way and volume
In which it is being spoken
Insane a few will scream
Madness others will plead
A flare for the dramatics
Of course it may seem
Pointless points made well
Like a dagger to the spine
Both a relief and a tragedy
More than in my head
Living all of this
Again and again
Writing until certain death
Could there ever be anything else
I am certain
With great confidence
That the answer
Those of you made friends
Turned conspirators
Is
No…
