A short poem for my creative writing class.
Sweet is their breath

                    Why is anyone's guess

                   

                      Perfect is their last expression

                      What a lasting impression.



                    Wet and red is their skin.

                    Such a thing should be a sin.



                    One last scream as their light fades.

                    Like the sound of cutting blades.



                  They did not last.

                  But the past is in the past.
