Thriving on adversity...
Should've Been a Cowboy

Sir, I'm a lot like you are... old-school in a lot of ways. I take life as it comes to me. I don't waste time complaining about the way I think things should be. All the bumps, bruises and cuts... that's a part of every-day life, as I expect it to be. Life is always tough. When it's not, it's usually a dream or a rare blessing. If you can't thrive despite adversity, you may as well give up your desire to breath. Love it or hate it... if you get tossed from the saddle, you stand up, dust yourself off and climb back in the saddle (if you're able). I'm just a country-boy that's out of my element, but I know the cold, wet, thirst, hunger, pain and wonder of having to make it through just another day. No sir, I don't have an inch of giving up in me and I'll die happy if I can just die with my boots on...
