Reasonable fools believing in something greater then themselves hurts no one.

Manifest Jesus
Make a king of men
A true lion within
Such a wicked beast
Dressed in thin skin
Always
Without hesitation
Knowing every answer
Long before he begins
Judging thy judged
Obliterating those loved
Strong opposition to
Any and all rule of thumb
Denying every question
By providing no reasonable answer
A certain sense of suspension
Increasingly is of course required
Spatial reconstruction
Must at all times be avoided
Flat is the page
Barren are the ways
Endless is the parade
Leading only to every grave
If they, those few who dare
Want to continue on
Then so be it
But those who refuse
Those since judged
Hammer them with fault
Deny all kinds of forgiveness
Every perfect plan is flawed
Greater the chance
Greater the payment must be
And when everything escalates
Which of course it will
Burn those in opposition at the stake
Let no unoriginal sin go to waste
Manifest Jesus
Create and thus
Further elaborate
Upon the basic idea
Add increasing details
Make non-believers believe
Lie, cheat, and kill if need be
The father and the son
One and the same madman
One in the same danger
The good book teaches us
That alone in the valley
Of the shadow of death
We shall fear no evil
For thou art with us
What if death and eternal life
Turns out to be the same thing
Then what
Who will be with us
And why would they be
What could we offer them
Our soul, at times seems cheap
A worthless deity unto itself
Dare hate the reality of our species
And not those few who point it out
Manifest Jesus
Creation by accident
Sin forced upon sin
Original from within
God, not the sacred son
But rather the Holy Ghost
Is up there, watching down
Pressing his thumb upon our spines
Causing us significant pain
Teaching us every lesson needed
Through his only begotten son
We somehow manage to express thanks
Toxic is at times our relationship
Wicked from the very get
For good to further triumph
Evil of course is further required
Darkness holds us captive
And not the other way around
Madness, a inherit flaw
Sanity, something to be worked at
Manifest Jesus
The son of God
And thus of us all
Has died upon his cross
So that would not have to be
Burdened with our own cross
Relative I am in certainty
But that doesn't make
Believing in him any easier
Limited is my right of passage
Skeptical is my wayward journey
I stand a thousand miles behind
So for me, a Christian standing
Upon the spine of eternal darkness
One step either way can cause
Excoriating pain or much relief
Such questions often come to easy
I will ask them as I move along
I won't judge those who hate
What it is I'm doing here
Because I know
Probably better than most
That everyone is entitled
To make their own mistakes...
