Love made the soul shatter
Your face was like an open book ,
All it took was one look,
The lack of emotions left me shook,
The air left my lungs,
I saw the double meaning in your puns,
Heard the slight hesitation in your voice,
When you called me hun ,
Now there's clouds where there used to be sun,
Everything feels so lackluster it's hard to have fun,
It's like you shot my entire being with a gun,
A part of me missing,
Yet I feel like I weigh a ton,
I can't face anything anymore,
All I can do is run,
My soul is destroyed,
Congratulations you won,
The prize being a shattered woman,
Left undone,
My prize being none.
