A short poem on how it feels to be depressed one morning. My first poem.
I lie in Bed.
Sheets wrapped around my Body,
and Pillow above my Head.

My blinds are closed.
My Eyelids shut.
My feet are cold.
My Spirit numb.

My friends are far,
but my phone is near.
and my facebook    rings of    solitude.

I close my Eyes,
to forget.
that dull, bleak ache,
inside my Head.

My Heart, it bleeds,
inside my chest
with compassion,
for    my unrest.

My God, I cry,
How I Wish to Be,
Well and Whole in Harmony...
