It bites...
I watched her from afar, already in love. She trekked the rock, her hair like ebony, black eyes glimmering. She didn’t spare me a glance, but I couldn’t look away. She was an ice queen.

And I was a slacker. No job, no sugar.

What was I thinking?

Wretched pheromones.

Then it happened. The kid decided to water the plants. Huge water drops fell on the rock and washed her off -

Right into my hairy arms.

‘Hello.’ I said, grinning like an idiot.

‘Hey.’ She said, looking at me.

We were ants. And my happily ever had arrived.
