A poem i wrote about Identity

It seems that some find dignity in malignity,
An inability to express virility in a civil and sensible way,
Or a need to impede others just to succeed,
I just long for the song set to start a new day,

A loud cry bellows by, bouncing off the passing breeze,
Reflecting the neglecting person’s plea for support,
A nearby hand will slip by and stand, claiming to misunderstand,
To think! When you are on the brink, your face begins to contort,

You sort through the fort, that hides away the truth,
A place where disgrace is stifled to save face,
Where confusion goes to maintain the outer illusion of sense of self,
But what part ,do you start bringing back to that real place?
