a visit into the mind of depression
Once proud and noble.
Broken down to rubble.
All I was could have been
cut short as I am humbled.
Dreams are broken desires lost.
Heart of gold turned to frost.
Life's little joys bring tears to the eyes
For without love everything beautiful dies.
Darkness swells as the evil rise.
Swallowing all of your inner cries.
Outside you smile while hating life.
Till one day it collapses in one big stride
You realize everything about you
has gone and died.
Oh how we cherish are miserable lives.
zombies we walk afraid to cry
hoping we find ourselves just one more time
before we take our last breath of life.
