What the government in Britain means to me.
Another day, Another day,
They find more ways to make us pay,
Slicing through our lives with no care for our pain,
Taking our benefits and cutting the corners,
Just like Thatcher and the bastards before her,
The country is brainwashed by men who know nothing.
While the rich upper classes are sitting there laughing,
At the sick and the damaged, us unfortunate ones
Labelled a “Jeremy Kyle” generation, workshy and scum,
We have nothing to show and nothing to live for,
Just trudge on or have 2 children or more.
Because now we can't even re-educate,
No EMA, ALG, just a boot to the face,
How are we expected to live day to day?
No wonder we drink, take drugs and have fights,
When you just exist it's nothing but long lonely nights,
Fit for survival but nothing more,
The entire benefit system is now down to it's core,
And every day, every day, the anger grows still,
As the Tories slowly move in for the kill,
Waiting forever for that first bright spark,
So we can band together and fight our way out,
Of the dark.
