A running of my mind in a still scene. Wishing I was vice versa.
I'll take a walk to still my mind
A confliction of the coolest kind
The body jiving, undulating
The mind moves into meditating
Trances dancing through the toes
through the fingers
through the nose
with every breath let in and out
don't doubt me on the presence
of this living essence pushing me
cushioning me
picking me up and laying me down
A passion that is driving me
A dream that is surviving me
despite my woken self
in spite of fears I've failed to quell
I'm alive!
The sparkling emerald gems in trees
flutterby like butterflies in the breeze
and remind me how precious beauty is
Blooms in young Spring
Until Summer brings
the calm of the heat
when we all have a seat
and wait for the ripening of Fall
and as we cool down
and the emeralds go brown
Amber gems that relinquish themselves to the ground
Then hush...
Hush in the darkness, in the time of the Crone
The tree loses leaves
the bush loses lush
and the bones of the kingdom are bared
the greens and blues, give way to the hues
of an aged mountain's snowy white hair
So I'll be sleeping, and be dreaming
slowing down my breath by the hearth
until the fever begins,
I need to get outside again
I'll go for a walk in the Spring.
