M. C. A (Mysteries , Conspiracies & Analogies)
M. C. A (Mysteries , Conspiracies & Analogies)
by Chad Eric Riley

Random things that stop & catch my eye
Translucent, flapping wings on a dragon fly
Softly, billowing clouds, casually slipping by
Contemplating distant thoughts, asking reasons why
Now; Dr. King left a legacy
Kurt Cobain left a mess I see
Burdened with a tragedy
And impacted with an analogy
One swore he never had a gun...
...And still, his demons chased him, always on the run
The other sought out freedom, speeches in the sun
Nectarines & peaches; equal just as One.
Other mysteries & conspiracies tattooed on my mind
Weeding out complacency on my daily grind
Seems all that's ever been taught, just a common lie
to pass away confusion in the student's eye
Love & compassion on the teacher's lips
locked & loaded tracer rounds on the soldier's hips
Now; our Youth feed off the anger
Out of boredom kill off a stranger
Away with the manger, random shooting danger
If this doesn't seem congruent
flip on the tube & trend what's pursuant
