A poem I wrote
Her jugular pulses beneath delicate flesh
Each palpitation captivating her bouquet
Perfume sails across the crowded room
Igniting a predatory hunger within
An appetite only she can tame

Her jugular awakes the monster in me
Enticing repressed feelings inside
I taste her sweetness upon the air
Revealing a creature of delight
Vivacious and smitten with life

Her jugular deafens all other sounds
Its lovely tempo, the only echo I hear
My fangs prick my lower lip
The blood cold and lifeless
Only hers will satisfy my needs

Her jugular harmonizes her laughter
Its rhythm sings to me across the theater
Should we meet, she will laugh no more
I will lurk in the shadows
When she is alone, I will indulge
