Another three poems, Quatrains this time with single stanzas.
Death

Death passes and breaks,
is cold and abrupt,
Leaving grief in its wake,
and the healthy corrupt.


Ex-wife

This cold barren wasteland
is the beginning of your heart;
bathed in the blood of man,
and frozen  from the very start.


Lava

Fire that flows,
that shrivels as it grows;
Liquid heat,
that darkens as it glows.
