Mind clouds

'Whenever we wonder we are not lost' They say.
And she drifts by on a cloud of her thoughts,
the water beneath her dries her bones,
and she feels nothing, nothing at all
her soul says "pending"

but she begins to feel herself falling,
the clouds are gone,
she was falling all along,
feeling nothing,
emotions are irrelevant
just concoctions of chemicals,

oblivion consumes her,
body and mind,
and, she feels,
whole.
