A work in progress about who, what, why are the pirates in Neverland


What about the pirates?
How did they get there?
Everyone had to fly,
Pirates only sail.

Do they age?
Does time stand still,
Like the isolated island.

Did they mentally never grow up?
Is their inner child uncontrollable?

Is that where they buried the treasure?

I sit here,
In the wonderment of why.
Asking myself,
What about the pirates?
