A special poem from my heart about writing and what I'm fighting to do with my words.

I just say
Repeating
Repeatedly
Both convergence
And conveyance
All commitment
Thus implementation
So much
Still undone
Without
In spite
And despite
Any sum
For free
At no cost
Form
And release
Payment
Gratification
An itch
Oh
How does it burn
Scratching helps
Not much
Soothing relieves
But I never
Can go all in
A non-committal
Illusionist
Showing tricks
Look right here
While I do this
Some applaud
Many don’t
I’ll survive
As the richest
Poor man
I can be
Once money
Is not part of
Or reason for
Then there is
And
Only has ever been
And will ever be
Love
A desire to
A required need
Upstaged
Time and again
Outdoing
What has been done
While doing
What must be complete
A balancing act
If there ever was
I could fall
Ass over kettle
But I won’t
The balance in me
Perfectly perfected
Understood
Knowing both
What is required
And what can be obtained
A humbling plateau
From here
The world
Out there
Belongs
I don’t think
Things impossible
Instead
I think things
In terms of plausible
I live all of this
And I am alive
One cannot exist
Nor does it
Without the other
I just say
And know
I understand
That at times
I don’t make any sense
But there are those few
Where I make
Sense most of all…
