poem of life rejections and becoming better from it
I can’t think at all
At the fire and the pit
And stay alone to fall
In the bottom, of all of it
Where I have seen the lion
The dragon and its tail
Lie upon an altered bed of rocks
A gold heart and a scale

I have seen your emptiness
Being afraid of dark
Will you light a fire
Or lend just a spark
How else could you afford
To spend my useless life
The darker are your shadows
The sharper is your knife

And I have felt it all
The iron and the steal
And pounded to be broken
To be sharp enough to feel
And cut away the anger
The lion and the dragon
The gold heart weighs the scale
Now all of this, is getting very real

I have felt you all
Your fire and your ice
The wounds you cut too deep
In the end, will never heal
You can paint your tiger
The dragon and this fools tale
That you would dare to call me
You useless foolish old friend
But every story has a beginning
And this one, is in the end
