A poem about farts. Written by a group in a high school creative writing class.
Bubble Guts
It started as a double beef and cheese burrito from Taco Bell.
It introduced itself in tiny burps that carried the left over taste of greasy tortilla
Before settling into the pit of my stomach with a symphony of unsightly rumbles
Just before bed, it led me to the bathroom
With aches of bursting bubbles that struggled to make their way
Down and out of my system.
Finally, it burst through the exit
Croaking a final goodnight before slipping between sweet cheeks
And spoiling the air.
The only trace of my gassy adventure
Being a rancid smell that fogged the room.
