poem about a bad dad.
Do you really?

You say you love me, you say you care,
Yet you are never there.
I remember you yelling, screaming, abusing
And to you it was all amusing.
Crushing my dreams and breaking my spirit,
Be quiet! I don't need to hear it.
You can keep your marijuana,
You just add more drama.
You said you'd always be there for me, but I just want to flee.
You will always be my father it just can't change,
But you'll never be a friend.
We might be related but, you will never be appreciated.
Now you have no daughter,
Just the addiction you loved more,
So remember these words as I walk out the door.
