this poem describes the feelings of girl child who face death before enjoying the life
Why before birth
I am known as dirt
Why I always swing
Between birth and death
My feelings are neglected
As if I am cut above the rest
Now why every girl child wishes
To be born as a boy
So that they have self respect
And get the same respect in society
You pray to goddesses
For education and health
Then why see a girl child
As the most deadliest pest
Are we the one?
To be trampled under feet’s
And to be used as servants
But remember the famous faces
Who fought for the country?
Like Jhansi ki rani of India
And Jeanne’d’arc of France
They were the ones that lead us to the victory
Then why now are they roaming helplessly
Save the girl child if you want to save the future
