Christian Poem
That night the sea was filled with tears
The boat was tossed and thrown
They didn't know that He was near
And so with fear they moaned

Their faith was sunk by stormy sky
Their souls were torn and rent
Even when He came close by
With doubt their minds were bent

He had to calm their hardened hearts
And tell them who he was
Once they believed the storm did part
Their weakness then could pause

Those sailors were like you and I
Born weak and prone to doubt
Even though the Lord is nigh
The storm may wear us out

But in the dark of storm and night
His love is always near
If we but look with faithful sight
He peace will calm our fear
