Holding On (To My Heart)

My cards are on the table
My love is in the air
I can’t make you feel
Something that isn’t there

I’ve had my ups and downs
And heartaches too
But nothing compares
To this heartache of you

Holding on to my heart
Don’t tear it apart
Help me to get through
These thoughts of you

I lie awake at night
Wanting to hold you tight
The chains of this love
Nowhere are you in sight
