The Pain of Longing


It hurts.
Your soft lips.
Your brown eyes.
Your fair skin.

It hurts.
My lips.
Yours.
My hands on Your waist.
An embrace.

I'm in pain.
Staring into Your eyes.
You, in mine.
My lips.
Yours.
Soft.
Love.

Pain. Hurt. longing.
I'm not patient.
I need You now.
Your love.
