budding romance
Gazing at the mountains
and the traffic going by
I go from room to room
but its all the same skyline

I watch the shadows shrink
below the noontime sun
and i think of how I'll wake you
when tomorrow comes

And I wonder why I feel this way
about a girl I hardly know
And I wonder why I feel this way
and why she makes me glow

Driving home at 5 o'clock
asphalt river is a crawl
but it gives me time think
of what's been going on

I think I see a red light
but I'm too far to tell
if everything i think see
is in my mind or real.

And I wonder why I feel this way
about a girl I hardly know
And I wonder why I feel this way
and where the story goes

The sun is finally setting
and the moon is just a smile
I know my words are rusty
haven't written in a while

I really haven't said much
for all the words I've used
but i think that it's because
I'm not sure what else to do

And wonder why I feel this way
about a girl I hardly know
And wonder why I feel this way
and if it even shows
