A man takes a long dive one day and finds out that things are not what they seem
What has happened in the past 2 weeks, I feel like someone has cursed my life, I feel like my life has drastically changed from a normal existence I had just a short time ago. People I thought I knew are now strangers to me, the outside world is full of emptiness that maybe I had not noticed before, but are more appearant now. What is it that changes life like this. Why can life be going so well and then spiral downward. I found myself driving down an empty highway, it was highway 41 , but instead of all the usual traffic this day, I was alone. I could not see any life outside in the dreary mist that seems to surround me, just an empty highway I have driven for years, but
a change has taken place, I cannot for the life of me explain, but it is like my like my life is not my own and I am being led somewhere,
someplace, maybe forward in time , maybe back, I just don't know right now

The sun seems to be trying to make an appearance , but is being strangled out by the the thick, heavy mist that abounds the sky. My destination is not clear to me, as I have been driving for several miles now. I have been thinking of my life, from my younger days up until now. It seems while you are young you just live life instead of life living you. I could go out in the warmth of a beautiful summer day and not have a thought in the world, just that I am alive and ready to enjoy all the beauty that is given me. Listen to the wind rustling the trees ever so lightly, the smell of the fresh cut lawns all around, the perfect hue of the sky as it looms over me, protecting me with it majestic beauty, and always feeling like everything is okay with the world. My mind has now wandered back to the present and am soon consumed with the awful dread that I feel is coming my way, if this is a dream I would like to wake up now as I have had enough.

A man is standing along the highway, the first person I have seen in awhile. He is a short, and very thin man with long , straggly black hair. I decided to stop and see if he needed a ride
