The mistakes that have been made, which have put me in the shade.
The mistakes that have been made,
Those of which I'm not proud.
They have put me in the shade.
"Will I return?" I've my doubt.

Through the darkness have I crawled,
Nothing else to do than weep.
By dark creatures was I stalked,
They crept to me in my sleep.

The faults that have followed me
Through all times, and all days,
Never will they let me be;
Never will we part our ways.

Through the dust have I crawled.
I falter through my life.
With monsters that have called,
Of which some not e'en alive.

The sins that I'm carrying,
Those which have dragged me down.
They don't care 'bout wellbeing.
All they do is make me drown.

Everyday do I pray
For my lust and my must.
For them to keep at bay,
And stop getting me to rust.

The dreams I once possessed,
For which I would once fight,
Lost all their interest
By my laziness, and my fright.

Crying did my mother find me.
Tears have been shed about past times.
Crying did my mother leave me.
Sadness has now taken my rhymes.
