Contest entry
I was working in a barn,
near the country side.
Until I got a job in the big old town.
My heart knew no bounds.

I packed my bags,
but not my cats.
They were hard to catch,
and I failed to fetch.

Barn was old and silent.
Only me and the cats.
Now I'm on a mission to seize,
and I followed the paw-prints.

One was spotty,
because of the black and white.
He liked fish and naps,
and  found it in the trap.

Another was Schrodinger,
with a black moustache.
He lived in a box,
and a box was what he got.

Last one was pompom,
with a love for the yarn.
He followed the wool ball,
and got into the vehicle.

Thus I got all the barn cats,
in back of my car, ready to set.
With the sound of meow meow,
I drove the car in highway.
