the aerial bombardment of Rotterdam by the Luftwaffe (German Air Force)
May 14th in 1940
all around, Rotterdam
exploding

The Luftwaffe
was here and there
dropping bombs
every where

25,000 buildings
destroyed
900 people dead

While the Dutch
surrendered
General Student
was shot in the head

The outraged SS
were to execute
all soldiers,officers
including civilians

but, oops seems it was a
stray German bullet
that had hit Gen. Student.
