A poem of me crying out to my Lord Jesus.
Shattered I have become
Shining and glistening gems before your radiant light begging you to make it right
How did I drift away?
How did I fall from grace?
How did I lose sight of your light?
Falling in to the darkness that is known as self-pride
O my lord hear my pleas of forgiveness
Pick up these shattered pieces and forge me a new
I lay all that I am at your feet
Take the man that I am who has built his house on shifting sand and place him with in the house that was built upon the rock of salvation
Where nether wind, rain, or fire ruin
Only in your hands will I not shattered
