A small poem from a project of mine that accentuates clever wordplay. Non-traditional.
Born, a prisoner of the mind...

But in the pin, didn't
you think to put a little more thought
in the pen?

Didn't you at least think about
being
independent...?

I feel sorry for the brother,
in dependent status of another,
Especially if its still his mother...

I am not wasting ink in the pen.
Dents in this paper
from the point
I'm getting across,
just to save a brother.

Save, a few brothers
who thought they'd be saved
if they got a little ink in His name.
"I'm getting a cross"

You got a cross?
Word,
but are you puzzled?
Well let me fill you in
with these clues.

You say to god,
"I'll write your name
in these blank spaces."
Taylor Swift-like.

And I pray to god,
you don't take his name in vain,
like you ain't tainted.
Taylor Swift-like.

Who am I?
A square?
For having spoke in words
you couldn't understand?

Understand,
you couldn't have spoke in words
to a square...
That, made you reflect on
who you are...

Who are you?

WHO ARE YOU!?

Mirror mirror, on the wall,
who's the most unknown to all?
Nobody...

Nobody could mirror these four walls.
