just the tip of the iceberg



Like a lamb to the slaughter
My sweet baby girl
No choice but be born
Into mommys world
Safe for two seconds
Then innocence lost
Taught to seek acceptance
Her soul will pay the cost
Taught that if he loves you
Love you's what he'll do
Shown that even if you tell
No one believes it's true
Like a moth to the flame
Drawn by its light
What at first was so wrong
Begins to feel right
